Michael Scupholm is an artist who utilizes glass and mixed media to explore the act of recollection through the process of making. Raised in Akron, Ohio he was introduced to glass in 2011 at Kent State University, which led him to earn his B.F.A in Crafts. Scupholm has had his work shown in galleries nationally and internationally and currently lives and makes his work in Norfolk, Virginia at the Perry Glass Studio as the Chrysler Museum of Art’s Studio Technician.
